By creating an account, signing in, or using any part of Fanancials — including the learning modules, FANA AI mentor, financial tools, missions, community, and the Parent/Educator and School Portals — you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.

If you are under 18, you confirm that your parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agreed to these terms on your behalf.

Fanancials is an educational platform designed to help you build financial literacy through interactive learning, gamified missions, AI mentorship, and self-reported financial tracking.

Fanancials is NOT a financial advisor, bank, broker, lender, or credit service. We do not manage, hold, transfer, or invest your real money. Any references to budgets, savings, investments, or debt are educational simulations based on information you self-report.

FANA, our AI mentor, provides general financial education and guidance. It is not a licensed financial advisor, and its responses do not constitute professional financial, legal, or tax advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making real financial decisions.

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to provide accurate information when creating your account and when using onboarding forms (such as Typeform), and to keep your profile information up to date.

You agree not to misuse the platform — including not harassing other users, not attempting to access data that isn't yours, not automating or scraping the service, and not uploading harmful or illegal content.

You may close your account at any time by contacting us. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

FanCoins, XP, levels, badges, streaks, and other gamification elements are virtual rewards intended to motivate learning. They have no cash value, are not a currency, and cannot be exchanged for real money.

Items available in the Bazaar or other reward areas are digital cosmetic or booster items with no real-world monetary value unless explicitly stated otherwise.

We may adjust, reset, or retire gamification balances and rewards at our discretion. Abusing or exploiting bugs to inflate XP or FanCoins may result in forfeiture or account suspension.

Guardians and educators may link students by email, view limited progress data, and assign learning modules — but only for students with whom they have a legitimate educational or parental relationship.

Educators using the School Portal are responsible for the accuracy of class information, appropriate use of student data, and compliance with their school or district policies, including any applicable student privacy laws (such as FERPA).

You may not use the portals to monitor, contact, or assign resources to individuals without a legitimate educational or guardianship relationship.

The Fanancials platform, including its name, logo, content, learning modules, tools, FANA mentor design, and software, is owned by Fanancials, LLC and protected by intellectual property laws.

Content you create — such as your financial goals, notes, and chat messages — remains yours. By using the platform, you grant us the limited license to store and display your content back to you (and to linked guardians/educators where applicable) to operate the service.

You may not copy, redistribute, or commercially exploit platform content without our written permission.

Fanancials is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any educational content will lead to specific financial outcomes.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fanancials, LLC is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the platform or reliance on its content, including any financial decisions you make based on educational material or FANA responses.

Because this is an educational tool and we never handle your real money, your use of Fanancials does not create any financial obligation or risk to your actual funds.

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date and, for material changes, notify you through the app or by email.

Continued use of Fanancials after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.
